Actually it's not finished yet...those strings don't quite go and their ends need finishing.
The pattern idea is from some nice bags I saw on etsy....by a Japanese lady of course! I liked the idea of the drawstring enclosure being made from a separate, contrasting fabric. The resulting bag is actually reversible and lined with satin, but this side looks best. =0)
Love the pretty bag, but don't understand what a random store is, please explain for those of us who are English.....Mum ;-)
ReplyDeletehmm...roughly translated it means "any merchant's establishment one happens to be patronizing" ...such as Starbucks etc. Hope that helps.
